Support Special Olympics Auckland with The Village Press olive oil gift packs
Our olive oil fundraiser is back! From now until 10 November, Special Olympics Auckland is selling The Village Press gift packs for $35 each, with every sale helping our athletes get to World and National events.
When an athlete is selected for the World Summer Games, the registration costs are significant. Every 150 packs we sell covers a big portion of one athlete's registration. That's a lot of olive oil, which is why we need your help to spread the word.
If you've been looking for a Christmas gift that's useful, delicious and does some good, this is it.
Two gift packs to choose from
The Village Press is a Hawke's Bay producer that has been making extra virgin olive oil in New Zealand for more than 20 years. Each pack holds three 250ml bottles in a smart carry box, ready to wrap. The same packs sell for $40 on The Village Press website, so you're paying less and supporting our athletes at the same time.
Mixed Gift Pack — $35
For the everyday cook who likes a good bottle in the pantry.
First Press: smooth and delicate. Great on salads, drizzled over almost anything, or for dunking warm bread.
Global Village Spain: a mild, fruity all-rounder that suits any style of cooking.
Truffle Infused: the treat of the trio. A splash lifts eggs, pizza, risotto or mash.
Infused Gift Pack — $35
For the foodie who loves to experiment.
Chilli Infused: balanced, smoky heat for pasta, pizza and stir-fries. Try it in chocolate brownies.
Garlic Infused: easy depth for roast vegetables, marinades and mashed kumara.
Lemon Infused: bright and fresh for dressings, chicken and fish. Or pour it over vanilla ice cream with lemon zest and a pinch of sea salt.
How to order
Orders close on 10 November 2026, so get in early.
Choose your packs. Decide how many Mixed and Infused packs you'd like.
Pay first. Make a direct payment to the Special Olympics Auckland Trust, 12-3045-0385454-51. Put your name in the reference field, and your pack numbers in the code field (for example, M2 I1 for two Mixed and one Infused). Orders are only finalised once payment has been received.
Send your order to Matt. Email or text Matthew Howe, our fundraising coordinator, with your name, a contact phone number or email, and how many of each pack you've ordered. You can also order through your sport coordinator.

Collection and delivery
Packs will be ready for collection or delivery in late November, just in time for Christmas. Matt will be in touch to arrange pickup or drop-off.
