Amelia’s ALP Graduation

Special Olympics Auckland is proud to celebrate Amelia Eades who along with nine other amazing athletes has graduated from this year’s Special Olympics New Zealand Athlete Leadership Programme.

Over the past year, Amelia has taken on new challenges, built confidence, and shown what leadership can look like — in sport, in their clubs, and in everyday life.

Each athlete brought their own strengths and personality to the programme — and that’s what makes our community so special. Together, athletes, Clubs and supporters are helping each other grow, give back, and lead in their own ways.

Each graduate made a speech and, of course, mentioned the 2025 National Summer Games — watch out world, and Christchurch here they come!
